Although relatively successful there, the BJT did not achieve its intended goal of a place in the upper range of the table. During the six-month break in the league, a number of training sessions as well as external tournament participation ensured optimal preparation. In terms of team strength, four new additions were also recorded. With Timo Acktum from Schwerin, Mustafa Ellahi (Iran), Peter Lindenberg (Leipzig) and Oleg Gusev from Bremen, the BJT is now well positioned and is thus also compensating for the injury-related absences of some regular fighters.
