On Friday night, unknown people broke into a bistro on Hermann-Staudinger-Strasse and then stole two slot machines there. According to initial investigations, two perpetrators pried open the door to an extension of the building shortly before 1 a.m. They then took the slot machines with them, loaded them, according to initial indications, onto a vehicle trailer provided and fled with their loot worth several thousand euros.
Both perpetrators were wearing sweatpants and mouth and nose protection. One was wearing a jacket, a hoodie, a knitted hat and white sneakers. His accomplice was wearing a hooded jacket, a baseball cap and light-colored sneakers. There is currently no further information available about the vehicle or the trailer. The material damage caused is estimated at around 500 euros. The criminal police are now looking for witnesses and ask them to call 069 8098-1234.
