Deprived of Lory Nyangasa et Henri Kahudi, the Beauvais team took a while to get going in the warm atmosphere of Coulogne. Trailing in the first moments of the game, the Beauvaisiens then gradually regained the ascendancy then widened the gap against the 9th in Pool B who had caused them some chills on the first leg.
