In fact, most Bayern stars have lost significantly in market value – a total loss of 81.7 million euros!
Gnabry and Kimmich lost a lot of market value

The calculation only takes into account the players who were there at the beginning of Tuchel’s time at Bayern almost exactly a year ago and are still at the club. If you compare the combined market values of the players to whom this applies, you get this minus of 81.7 million euros.
Of course, the market value calculations also include age and contract term; for some stars such as Joshua Kimmich (29) or Alphonso Davies (23), the contract expires next year. Davies lost 10 million in market value, Kimmich even lost 20 million. For Thomas Müller (34/minus eight million) and Manuel Neuer (38/minus seven) the loss was mainly due to age.
But the biggest factor is of course the performances – and this is where the mediocre season of many stars and the almost lost championship title are reflected. Leon Goretzka (29), for example, lost 35 million (!) in one Tuchel year, even though he still has a contract until 2026.
Another big loser is Serge Gnabry (29/minus 20 million). On the other hand, Mathys Tel (18/plus 20 million) and Jamal Musiala (21/plus 10 million) were able to increase during the Tuchel period.
Especially with the top stars Goretzka, Kimmich and Gnabry, whose future at Bayern is constantly being discussed, the falling market values have certainly not made it easier to sell them for high amounts…
