Basketball Zamora Enamora played a perfect first quarter this afternoon in which they almost finished off their match against Algeciras, by distancing their rival by 14 points: 13-27. Before closing the first half, the blue squad played good defense to maintain that advantage gained in the first ten minutes. In this way, the first half ended with a score of 31-44.
But, after passing through the locker room, Saulo Hernández’s men thought they had the three points in their locker. The Andalusians would take advantage of it to put up a tremendous 25-15 lead in that third quarter. Poor defense led to the last ten minutes being played at a great pace by both teams. Algeciras believed them in that very close last quarter, but ended up losing to the leader 78-83.
