50 points: Euroleague record for Istanbul’s Hayes-Davis

The American scored a whopping 50 points and set a Euroleague record. This was previously held by Shane Larkin, who scored 49 points in the game with Anadolu Efes against Bayern Munich in November 2019. Sterling Brown was the best thrower for Alba with 17 points.

The hosts from Istanbul, who are still trying to secure their play-off ticket, quickly pulled away and extended their lead to 21 points. In the middle of the second quarter, the Berliners showed another brief rebellion and even won the period by four points.

After the break, Alba had nothing left to counter the Hayes-Davis show.
