Azzurro Junior Camp Trophy: Promoting Values Through Sport in Pordenone

PORDENONE – The 1st “Azzurro Junior Camp” Trophy took place at the Palazen in Pordenone. Promoted by the ANAOAI provincial section, the project aims to spread the educational, social and cultural values ​​that the “Maglia Azzurra” can transmit through sporting activities, with the primary objective of being able to bring inactive young people closer to the world of sport in order to counteract the high levels of sedentary lifestyle, contribute to improving well-being and health, and increase the inclusion of all vulnerable people. The very young participants, mostly made up of children from the South Comprehensive of Pordenone, with “Azzurro Junior Camp”, are approaching sport through various inclusive educational activities oriented towards Judo and Athletics, practicing physical activities adapted in order to increase perception of the individual potential of each child, each for their own uniqueness under the protective wing of authentic welcome and respect on the part of qualified technicians provided by the participating associations assisted by their teachers. A playful-sporting moment culminated with the delivery to the participating children of a souvenir medal and strictly blue backpacks provided by the national headquarters that created the “Azzurro Junior Camp” project and to thank their families who joined the project.

A real challenge brilliantly won for the promoter of the project, Professor Marinella Ambrosio, president of ANAOAI section. Pordenone. All made possible also thanks to the extraordinary collaboration of the IC Pordenone Sud represented by the vice-principal Silvia Burelli and the teachers Tiziana Piccinin and Alessandra Cossetti, of the Polisportiva Villanova Judo which supplied the system and the technicians (masters Muzzin, Panzeri and Lucchini), of the Asd Crescere sul Tatami Judo Libertas, with the support of the Municipality of Pordenone represented by the Sports Councilor Walter De Bortoli, of the Italian Territorial Sports Medical Federation, of Sport and Health represented by Dr. Erika Dessabo, of the BCC Pordenonese and Monsile represented by the director Cipolla, of the Libertas Regional Sports Center represented by the newly confirmed president Lorenzo Cella and of the Punto Casa sales point in Cordenons, always sensitive to initiatives in favor of very young students.

Testimonial was the former canoeist who was Olympic champion in London in 2012 and is now the technical director of the Italian national team, Daniele Molmenti who, strictly in the blue shirt, first rewarded and then entertained the approximately 50 children who played on the tatami in via Pirandello, transmitting to them all the values ​​that the “Azzurro Junior Camp” project aims.
