Austria’s opponents for the European Championship qualification have been determined

Austria’s national volleyball teams know their opponents in the European Championship qualifications for the 2026 tournaments. The women face Greece and North Macedonia, the men face Belgium and Azerbaijan. The seven group winners and the five best runners-up will qualify for the 2026 finals. The first of the four games will take place on August 17th or 18th, and qualification will last a year in total.

The Golden and Silver Leagues are also waiting for the ÖVV teams at European level in May and June. The women will meet the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Estonia and Azerbaijan in the Golden League, and the best four will advance to the Final Four. The men face Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Israel twice each in the Silver League, with the best two contesting the final.
