This weekend, the ASCBB players won their duel against Croix while those of the USBB, who traveled to Lille, for the 21st day of the championship.
At home, the Amiens had to take points after a succession of defeats in recent times. Often performing well in their gymnasium, they were counting on this match against Croix to return to victory. The players of the ASCBB made a very good start to the match leading by ten points after three minutes. Obviously, when everyone is present, our matches improve in quality, the depth of the bench allows us to better manage the end of the match, so let’s hope that it continues like that!«
Boves falls in the North
As for the players of l’USBBthey went to the north to challenge Lille ASV, eighth in the ranking. The Bovois failed to win a fourth match in a row and lost with a score of 73-52. Boves coach, Jean-Pierre Fourmaux explains: “Against a team that was superior to us, we would have needed a lot more physical involvement to beat them. Given our situation in the standings, we have to approach each match like a cup final. SATURDAY, we fell back into our mistakes, with a lot of ball losses, catastrophic skill and we know that we cannot win by only scoring 50 points. There were still periods in the match where we did interesting things, which allowed us to come back several times, but the evening’s opponent showed great skill behind the 3-point line, which definitively sealed the outcome of the match in the fourth 1/4 time. »
