Arthur Cazaux suffers discomfort on court during Miami qualifying

Arthur Cazaux (74th) suffered discomfort this Monday during the first round of qualifying for the Masters 1000 in Miami. Opposed to his compatriot Harold Mayot (141st), the Montpellier native seemed to have been a victim of the heat while he was struggling in the third set.

Cazaux conceded the first set 6-4 before winning the second 7-5 and led 2-1. As he was preparing to return to 30-A, the young Frenchman (21 years old) collapsed. He then left the field in a wheelchair, apparently a victim of the heat (30°C in Miami) after more than 2 hours of play.

Mayot will face Belgian David Goffin (106th) in the next round with a place in the main draw up for grabs.
