“I’m feeling better. “I just left the hospital in Miami after spending the night in the hospital receiving treatment and completing a series of tests,” Cazaux, world No. 74, wrote on X.

Cavaux is doing better, blood pressure and heart are stable. “It was ultimately more fear than suffering. Now my body needs to rest and I hope that I can be back on the tennis court soon.”

After the incident, he was accused of not being interested in Cazaux’s well-being. Because after Cazaux went down, Mayot initially stood calmly on his side before running to his compatriot.

Regarding the “inappropriate messages sent to Harold,” Cazaux said, “Having known him for a while now, I can assure you that he is not the type of person who doesn’t care about the health of his colleagues.”

At first he thought it was “simple cramps. As soon as he saw it was something serious, he became worried and did everything he could to help me.”

Mayot had already justified himself in a similar way: “I did my best to help, we were and are good friends and sports mates. Stop constantly spreading your hate. I wish him a speedy recovery.”

Cazaux caused a stir at the Australian Open in January when he made it to the round of 16 and eliminated top star Holger Rune, among others.
