Arsenal Reportedly Looking to Sell Kai Havertz Despite Recent Success

After some teething problems, Kai Havertz has worked hard to earn his place in Arsenal’s first team in recent weeks. However, the Gunners should not be completely satisfied with the German international. For this reason, they are apparently already looking for a buyer.

Arsenal FC put around 75 million euros on the table in the summer to get Kai Havertz from one side of London to the other. For a long time it looked as if the transfer would not be profitable for the Gunners, but the German has now become a permanent fixture at the Premier League leaders.

It is all the more surprising that rumors are now circulating in Spain that the Londoners want to get rid of the 24-year-old after the season. The portal “fichajes.net” claims that the top English club is already looking for a buyer for Havertz and is even prepared to accept a loss of millions if an offer is made.

“Second chance” for Havertz at Arsenal cannot be ruled out

According to the report, the Gunners bosses simply expected more from Havertz than what he has shown so far. Nevertheless, according to “fichajes”, they have not yet completely given up their hopes of an explosion in the German’s performance. It is said that staying and thus having a “second chance” in the form of another season cannot be ruled out.

In contrast, completely different tones are struck in England and especially in London itself. It is unanimously stated that the Gunners are very happy with Havertz’s development and that selling him is not up for debate. The recent statements from AFC coach Mikel Arteta, who explicitly praised the German after the 2-1 win against Brentford and emphasized the 24-year-old’s constantly growing self-confidence, also fit in with this.

In purely contractual terms, there are no doubts about Havertz’s future with the Gunners: his working paper in London runs until the summer of 2028. The transfer rumors should therefore be treated with caution.
