Arsenal have caught up with leaders Liverpool and defending champions Manchester City in the Premier League. The Londoners outclassed bottom side Sheffield United 6-0 (5-0) in the final game of the 27th round on Monday and are once again two points behind Liverpool and one point behind ManCity. Arsenal have seven wins and 31:3 goals in seven league games in 2024.

Martin Odegaard (5th), Jayden Bogle with an own goal (13th) and Gabriel Martinelli (15th) made things clear in Sheffield after just a quarter of an hour. Kai Havertz (25th) and Declan Rice (39th) before the break and Ben White after the break (58th) added the further goals.
