In January 2023 she feared leaving Italy to compete for another country. But the idea of Arianna, who won her first Olympic medal in Turin 2006, remains to close the circle in Milan-Cortina. The world championship in Rotterdam will represent a test on the present, but above all on the sporting future of the queen of the blue short track. In the Netherlands, the women’s team is also made up of Chiara Betti, Elisa Confortola, Gloria Ioriatti and Arianna Sighel while the men’s team is made up of Mattia Antonioli, Thomas Nadalini, Pietro Sighel, Luca Spechenhauser and Cassinelli.
