The Argentine delegation had an impressive performance at the II Trisome Games in Antalya 2024.
For this edition in Turkey, and despite all the difficulties in gathering resources, Argentina presented 21 athletes in six different disciplines.
In this competition reserved for athletes with Down Syndrome, Argentines reached the podium in all disciplines, with a total of 21 medals (4 gold, 10 silver and 7 bronze).
Argentine sport continues to excite and bring enormous joy. And apart from an outstanding sporting work, the largest sports event in the world for athletes with these characteristics, represented a unique experience of brotherhood, friendship and camaraderie for each participant.
Athletes from 28 countries participated in an enriching competition from every point of view.
The details of the Argentine medals according to each sport are as follows:
Athletics: 2 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze; judo: 1 bronze; swimming: 1 silver and 2 bronze; artistic swimming: 1 gold and 1 silver; tennis: 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze; table tennis: 1 silver.
