Archery Success for Brianza Athletes: Alessio Mangerini Clinches Fifth Victory of the Season

Fifth victory of the season for Alessio Mangerini: the young athlete affiliated with the Compagnia Arcieri del Sole of Solaro won it in the shooting range in Castelgoffredo (Mn). In the Olympic arch division, senior category, Mangerini scored 647 points and now occupies 12th position in the national Olympic Ranking.

The other Brianza archers protagonists in Voghera

Archers from Brianza were also protagonists in other competitions, starting with those organized in Voghera. In the first reserved for youth categories, Matteo Villa (Polisp.Besanese – Besana B.) won two gold medals in the Olympic, junior category: the first in the individual test, the second with the team completed by Andrea Brotto and Gabriele Durante. In the other one in Voghera, in the Olimpico senior Tanya Giaccheri (Aereonautica Militare – Bosco delle Querce Seveso) finished in fifth place, while two master teams from Polisp.Besanese won gold, the men’s team with Alessio Sinigaglia, Massimo Durante, Alessandro Morellini and the women’s team with Maria Carla Corti, Monica Redaelli, Letizia Muzzupappa. Finally, in the naked bow two archers from Brianza won gold: Simona Biella (Polisp.Bellusco archery section) and Cristian Trolese (Comp.Arc.del Sole Solaro).
It should also be added that Maria Carla Corti in a race held in Alessandria ranked first in the Olympic with 558 points, 14 more than second-placed Roberta Branchi (Arc.San Bernardo).
