Archers of the Crozon Peninsula Shine at 2024 Departmental Mixed Trophy Event

Saturday March 23, three mixed teams from the Archers of the Crozon peninsula carried the club’s colors high at the 2024 departmental mixed trophy, organized by the Saint-Pol-de-Léon club. Created to promote diversity in archery, the mixed trophy is based on a team tournament made up of a man and a woman belonging to the same category and the same club. New this year was the opening of the departmental round of the trophy to the U13/U15 categories.

Three teams on the podium

After a mini-qualification shot in the rhythm of mixed team shooting, five ends of four arrows (two per shooter in 80 seconds), group matches and a “Big Shoot Off”. The recurve team, made up of Sylvie Morvan and Serge Berthou, finished third in their group. The barebow team, with Carole Bierry and Quentin Beray, also finished third in its group, and the compound bow team, made up of Edwige Mercier and Théo Pavis, finished in first place in the Big Shoot Off. The duo therefore qualifies to represent the Departmental Committee at the National Mixed Trophy, on June 22 and 23 in Chennevières-sur-Marne (94).
