Their Arsacais route impassable, the Archers of Arsac organized their qualifying nature competition for the French championships on March 10, on the Benon site of their Saint-Laurentais friends, whom they thanked for their welcome.

From the morning, 70 archers from 25 companies from the Greater South-West approached the first course. On a soft and damp circuit, they faced 21 targets on which they released two arrows earning them, at the end of the event, a total of points estimated at 735 maximum. At the end of the morning, the rain disrupted the events and led some archers to abandon the afternoon course carried out by around fifty athletes braving the climate.

Good performance

At the end of the day, 11 archers had achieved more than 600 points, which seemed very satisfactory, with the best performances from Ilan Chartrain (Arsac, barebow and 640 points), among the young people, and Eddy Séguy (Blanquefort, free bow and 690 points) in adults.

The presentation of awards to the winners allowed everyone to express their satisfaction with the organization, while regretting the bad weather.
