The senior men’s team of the Anna Basketball Club took advantage of the momentum of the victory achieved against V-74 Villena last day to beat CB Jorge Juan B (59-65) in a match played at the La Magdalena Municipal Pavilion in Novelda.
Although it was another trip marked by absences, Nico Talón’s men started the game very strong and were able to maintain the pace to achieve a well-deserved victory.
The club’s other senior team, that of the 2nd Zonal, lost to Soul Basket de Guadassuar (33-65) in a clash that had those from La Ribera dominating from start to finish.
In the cadet category, the annero team achieved victory on its visit to CB Joventut d’Alcoi (41-58). After a rather difficult first half, Toni Navas’ men came out very energized in the third quarter and were able to achieve an interesting advantage that they managed to maintain to seal a new victory.
In the juniors, the men’s team visited the Ontinyent CB court and brought Anna a good victory (38-59). The rest of the club’s teams enjoyed a rest day this weekend.
