Andrey Rublev Disqualified in Semi-Finals After Verbal Incident with Linesman

In the semi-final against the Kazakh Alexander Bublik, Rublev freaked out when the score was 5:6 in the third set and shouted in the face of a linesman from a short distance.

According to another linesman who speaks Russian, Rublev insulted the official. As a result, Rublev was disqualified.

Thanks to the 200 points that Rublev receives for his participation in the semi-finals, he retains his fifth place in the world rankings, ahead of the German number one, Alexander Zverev.
