Amazfit Active Edge is now also available in Italy. The latest smartwatch, just certified as a winner in the 2024 iF design awards, is designed for dynamic individuals, including urban explorers, who want to monitor their health and enjoy the practical benefits of Artificial Intelligence.

This new model allows the user to choose one of the hundred available watch faces and some of them are customizable. Unlike many models currently on the market, this model has four buttons instead of two. The advantage of the latest smartwatch is undeniably the value for money: good quality at an equally affordable price.
In Italy, Amazfit Active also stands out for its two-color design: dark gray (Midnight Pulse) and light green (Mint Green).

A robust and efficient smartwatch

Amazfit Active Edge is equipped with a 370 mAh battery, which in combination with an efficient processor, allows the smartwatch to run on a single charge for up to 16 days, exceeding the standard two-week lifespan on the market. By activating the energy saving mode, it can work for up to 24 days. Even with GPS enabled, it offers impressive performance, with continuous geolocation taking up to 20 hours to fully drain the battery. The watch has superior water resistance, with a standard of 10 ATM rather than 5 ATM like many other models, allowing for diving to greater depths without compromising its construction. It is also resistant to shocks, extreme temperatures and can be worn during activities such as mountain hiking and cycling on rough terrain.

A complete and reliable wrist support

Even those who like to stay active and on the move will find value in Amazfit Active Edge, thanks to the wide range of over 130 sports modes available. This allows everyone to track and practice their favorite activities with ease.
At the same time, the smartwatch was designed in such a way that users decide how they want to train. If they prefer to practice according to their own schedule, they can use special templates. Plans are created in the Zepp application and quickly sent to Amazfit Active Edge.

Otherwise, an alternative solution is Zepp Coach, an artificial intelligence coach that creates training plans based on the user’s goals, physical characteristics and training level. Additionally, after completing the workout, the user receives a comprehensive report showing the effects of aerobic and anaerobic exercise, the level of fatigue or overload, as well as the time required for complete regeneration. Calculations are performed using advanced Peak Beat algorithms.
Furthermore, after completing the exercise, in the Zepp app you have the possibility of having a detailed map illustrating the muscles activated during the workout. Two additional colors will inform you which muscle group has been activated and in what intensity.

Training within everyone’s reach with AI

Amazfit Active Edge, following the example of the previous Amazfit Cheetah, Amazfit Balance and Amazfit Active series, extensively exploits Artificial Intelligence. Zepp Coach, an AI-powered personal fitness and running coach, creates individual training plans that are updated weekly. Communication with Zepp Coach occurs via a chatbot that uses Large Language Model (LLM) technology, allowing for fluid and natural conversations in the user’s language.

The chatbot is available as part of the paid Zepp Fitness Membership subscription (monthly access to Zepp Fitness Membership costs €3.99, annual access €29.99). The LLM model is also used in the Zepp Aura service, available via paid subscription, which adjusts sounds in real time to facilitate sleep or relaxation based on the smartwatch’s biometric data (monthly access to Zepp Aura Premium costs €9, €99, the annual €49.99).

Users receive a comprehensive sleep quality report, with four indicators that determine health risk. Amazfit Active Edge constantly monitors vital parameters, including heart rate, stress level, sleep quality and blood saturation.

Amazfit Active Edge is available at retailers: Euronics, Expert, Unieuro, Media World and Trony. The recommended price is 149.9 euros.
