The municipality of Alūksne region invites applicants to apply for the municipal award “Pagodinājum” in four sectors – business, education, culture and sports – until March 18 (inclusive).
The “Honour” award is presented in each field, evaluating the achievements of the previous year. Therefore, the municipality invites residents to apply for awards to applicants whose performance and achievements in the specific sectors of the previous year have been especially noticeable and significant, as well as special events in these sectors that have been widely publicized and made a significant contribution.
The municipality invites people, collectives, organizations, companies, events, events in the mentioned fields to apply for the award by writing a letter in a free form or by filling out an online questionnaire https://ej.uz/pagodinajumu, created to facilitate the application of applicants. Before submitting applications, please familiarize yourself with the award regulations on the municipality’s website www.aluksne.lv in the Municipality/Documents/Regulations section.
For the award “Honour in Business” you can apply for the best, most successful companies in various business sectors, whose recent performance, growth, innovations and other business indicators should be evaluated with a municipal award. The purpose of the award is to identify and honor regional entrepreneurs who actively and honestly operate in their industry, contributing to the development of the region and the business environment, as well as to promote the recognition of regional entrepreneurs.
Legal entities (except state and municipal capital companies), their branches or structural units whose economic activity is carried out in the territory of Alūksne region, and individual merchants, natural persons can apply for the award., who have registered and carry out economic activity in the county.
Award “Honour in Education” the aim is to thank the teachers of the district, employees of the education sector and organizations for their achievements during the previous school year – for creative work in the upbringing and education of students, popularizing the prestige and pedagogical experience of the pedagogue in the district and the country, investment in aesthetic education and artistic self-activity, significant achievements in preparing participants for subject olympiads , in contests, shows, sports competitions, for a significant contribution to adult education and/or lifelong learning, for a bright innovative contribution in one of the educational sectors.
Educational institutions founded by the municipality and their teaching staff, as well as organizations engaged in organizing lifelong learning and adult further education events, and their representatives can apply for this award.
This year, this award is expected to be presented in the following nominations, so we invite teachers whose performance corresponds to one of them to apply:
- “On determination and achievements in working with talented students”,
- “Teacher’s personality – support for growth”,
- “For creative, modern, effective and professional work in inclusive education”,
- “On initiative and creativity in promoting pedagogical experience and activity”.
Award “Honoring in culture” the purpose is to thank the employees of the cultural sector for special achievements in the field of culture, significant contribution to cultural activity in the region during the previous calendar year.
Cultural employees of municipalities and private institutions, cultural institutions, organizations, industry events and events can apply for “Honoring in culture”. The award is given for a significant contribution to the cultural work of the region, preservation and improvement of the cultural environment or special achievements in any of the fields of art, amateur art, craft, publishing or regional studies, outstanding achievements in international competitions.
To the award “An honor in sports” athletes of Alūksnes region, their coaches, sports organizations and other persons related to sports activities who have achieved significant results in individual or team sports and made a significant contribution to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and sports activities in the region can apply.
The award is given in nominations for special achievements in the Latvian, European and World Championships, the Olympic Games, as well as in other high-level competitions or for a significant contribution to sports during the previous calendar year.
The award “Honoring in sport” for the results achieved is given taking into account information about the achievements of athletes or teams in non-commercial competitions approved by the respective sports federations, adults (including veterans) or youth competitions.
When applying for one of the awards, please indicate the applied person (name, surname), team, collective, company or organization (name), event or event, etc., as well as describe the specific achievements for which you are nominating the applicant for the award. The application can be completed in a free style. Please also indicate the applicant’s data so that the application is not anonymous and the applicant can be contacted if necessary. Applications can be written both individually and collectively, thus confirming the significance of the performance and contribution of the specific applicant to the wider society.
