Rumors about a possible departure of Bayern’s defensive star to Real Madrid have been keeping fans in suspense for months. Recently there were even reports in Spain that Davies (contract until 2025) had already agreed with the Royals on contractual terms in the event of a change this year or next.
Now the Canadian’s advisor, Nedal Huoseh, made it clear to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano (31): “Nothing has been agreed or concrete with any club. Alphonso’s focus is currently on FC Bayern.”

BILD had already reported ten days ago that Davies had not yet made a decision about the future. The only thing that is clear so far is that Bayern will not pay the player’s annual salary of 20 million euros. In order to get his contract extended in Munich, Davies would have to lower his demands. The bosses’ pain threshold is just under 14 million euros in salary.

If Bayern and Davies cannot reach an agreement, the bosses would be willing to let their number 19 go this summer for a fee of around €70 million, otherwise there would be a risk of a free transfer in 2025.
However, advisor Nedal Huoseh left it open as to what will happen to Davies at the end of the season: “We will examine all of our options for the future in the next few months.”
