Alliance judo leads its boat to “Fight Forme”. His trainer and gym manager, Damien Blanchard, performs with his judokas. The youngest ones shone during the last departmental and regional championships. In the junior category, Benjamin Martin is departmental champion in – 34 kg and Axel finishes 5th. In – 36 kg, Angèle Biteaud obtained bronze in the same championship. The three are selected for the interdepartmental phase. Among the juniors, Cléa Yvernault took 6th place in – 36 kg in the regional and will be a substitute for the French championship. The cadets are not left out. Lucie Poublan Boulanger and Mylène Desoubzdanne were selected for the regional championship. “As a junior, Mylène, still a cadet, will compete in the French championship which will take place in Paris, finishing 3rd, she is the only qualified cadet in the department,” greets her coach.
Building on this momentum, a new teacher will arrive in 2025. He will work in particular with schoolchildren. A new site is also expected to open.
