The Spanish player Santi Aldama played this Wednesday one of his best games of the season in the NBA and once again touched the ‘double-double’ with the Memphis Grizzlies, although it could not be accompanied by a victory, since his team conceded its third consecutive defeat by falling clearly 137-116 on their visit to the Golden State Warriors.
The power forward from Gran Canaria was the third highest scorer for the Grizzlies, adding 27 points, with an excellent 6/12 in the triple shot, and nine rebounds, numbers to which he added four assists, two stolen balls and a block to round out a duel in which they did not have many options against the local offensive machine despite an ‘earthly’ Stephen Curry (14).
Aldama showed above all a great level in the first half where he scored 21 of the 58 points that his team had at halftime, with all of his triples scored, but his success and prominence decreased in the second half and he could not surpass his scoring record in the NBA, 28 points against the Boston Celtics last November. Furthermore, he did not shy away from an exchange of words with the wayward Draymond Green.
