The Spanish world number 2 dismissed Fabian Marozsan this Tuesday, in the round of 16 of the Masters 1000 at Indian Wells.
The Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, defending champion of the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells (California, United States), qualified on Tuesday for the quarter-finals of the tournament by eliminating the Hungarian Fabian Marozsan (6-3, 6-3 ). World No.2, Alcaraz took his revenge on Marozsan, 58th in the world, who beat him in their only confrontation last year in Rome.
The Spaniard, already a two-time Grand Slam winner at just 20 years old, will face either the German Alexander Zverez (6th) or the Australian Alex de Minaur (10th) in the quarters on Thursday. The Czech Jiri Lehecka, 32nd player in the world, created a small surprise by dominating the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (11th) 6-2, 6-4 to also reach the quarters.
