AJ Lawson Signs Multi-Year Contract with Dallas Mavericks: Details Inside

Three days ago Adrian Wojnarowski overtook that AJ Lawson’s two-way contract with the Dallas Mavericks became a standard agreement. Today, through Mike Scotto’s information for Hoops Hype, it has been known that the shooting guard has signed for this and three other seasons. Of course, for now only the remainder of this contract with a guaranteed contract.

Lawson would receive a total of 7.9 million dollars if he fulfilled the full agreement. For now, he will start charging one million dollars for the current campaign. The shooting guard has been with the Mavericks since the end of 2022, when he signed his first contract two-way. Since then, the young man has combined the G League with the NBA, where he has played a total of 44 games with averages of 7.8 minutes and 3.7 points.

However, the Texans were not his first team in the best league in the world. Before signing with Dallas, Lawson also spent time with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a two-way deal.
