Acquitted because the fact does not exist. This was the decision of the second criminal section of the North Naples court chaired by Paola Rizzo against 4 people all belonging to the same family unit who ended up on trial for attempted murder aggravated by cruelty and premeditation.
The story began in September 2022 in Trentola Ducenta where 25-year-old LP and 24-year-old AL, brothers from Trentola Ducenta, hit the car, a Fiat 500L, driven by the victim and his two children with iron clubs, damaging it. The other family members intervene, 77 year old BL and 39 year old MDA armed with baseball bats who attack the victim and his two children.
The victim is violently hit on the head with the help of iron bars, causing a serious wound. He underwent delicate surgery and was in a coma for 28 days. The family’s lawyers, Franco Liguori and Davide De Marco, highlighted that it was not a punitive expedition because the argument arose between one of the victim’s sons and PL and that the story was partially true. Thesis accepted by the Norman college which pronounced an acquittal against the Trentola Ducenta family.
