Abodi is currently president of the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo, a social bank for the sustainable development of sport and culture. The Institute, a leader in plant financing, works alongside public bodies and private entities to help them carry out large and small development projects.

It dates back to 1987, when he held (until 1994) the role of marketing director in Italy of the American multinational McCormack Group, a company specialized in the organization of large events.
