Ragnar Oratmangoen and Jay Idzes are two new naturalized players for the Indonesian National Team. After previously Idzes debuted first, Oratmangoen has the potential to play his first match with the Garuda squad when he meets Vietnam on the fourth matchday of Group F of the 2026 World Cup Qualification Asia Zone, Tuesday (26/3/2024).
It is hoped that the quality and experience of Oratmangoen and Idzes can boost the performance of the Indonesian National Team. Moreover, both of them are also still playing in the European League.
Currently Oratmangoen is part of Fortuna Sittard which plays in the Eredivisie, the top caste of the Dutch League. Meanwhile, Idzes plays for Venezia in Serie B, the second caste of the Italian League.
Looking back, Oratmangoen and Idzes once played together in Go Ahead Eagles. One of the best moments they recorded was when they beat Ajax in the Eredivisie.
