Dear correspondents and friends of Sport People!
Every year we break a new record and this year we were able to get almost to the threshold of April before publicly launching the usual self-financing campaign for our publishing activity which, in theory, starts from the beginning of the calendar year . This thing in itself already fully reflects our philosophy: what matters to us, what drives us is to continue to fuel our passion for the world of cheering, to talk about it with the utmost honesty and to try to rebalance the scales of ( generalist dis)information, always tied to the same eternal and wildly banal clichés. Caught up in the usual whirlwind of matches, trips, material to edit and publish, we didn’t even bother to extend the membership campaign to the rest of our readers and supporters.
To better explain this last step, Sport People to operate in full compliance with sector regulations, it has registered with the Court’s periodicals register. To do this we needed a publisher and we created this publisher ourselves by founding the association Stadium kids (in honor and unfortunately from this year also in memory of Daniele Segre and his work of the same name). A non-profit cultural association: the only income that the law allows us are the membership fees that we ourselves pay. Nice balls, in short! Jokes aside, it’s the price we decided to pay also by virtue of our background as (ex) ultras militants, putting passion and love for ideas before hypothetical earnings which, in current publishing, are all to be seen .
Having said that, if you like the work we do, if you want to support us like we try to support the world of cheering with our activity, if you want to preserve our autonomy and extend this long adventure that began in 2003 by another year, you can do your donation with the following methods and with the amount you deem appropriate, even just simply offering us a beer or a virtual coffee. For our members/collaborators we remind you that the minimum annual fee (to be entitled to accreditations, emails, certified e-mails, etc.) is €25:
– Postal bulletin on current account no. 50731918made payable to “Associazione Culturale Ragazzi di Stadio, Via Adda 22, 23898, Imbersago (LC)”, indicating as reason “Membership fee 2024” (or “Donation to the association” in the case of a lower voluntary contribution from supporters);
– Bank transfer to IBAN IT45J0760110900000050731918 always made out to “Associazione Culturale Ragazzi di Stadio, Via Adda 22, 23898, Imbersago (LC)”, and always indicating as reason “Membership fee 2024” (or “Donation to the association” in the case of voluntary contributions from supporters)
– Paypal indicating the beneficiary [email protected];
Secondly, we ask those who pay their share to notify us via email to the same address above,[email protected], in order to update the following list which, with BancoPosta account statements, we would be able to do much more slowly.
