Klosterneuburg judo talent grabbed gold for the first time at a U21 European Cup.

Helene Schrattenholzer from the Judo Union Klosterneuburg took part in the U21 European Cup in Anadia, Portugal, at the weekend as part of the Junior European Cup.

At 17, Schrattenholzer was the youngest participant there, as her coach Robert Haas said. But she didn’t seem to let that bother her. Schrattenholzer won all of her fights and won her first U21 European Cup gold medal. “Congratulations to Helene. To win a gold medal at such a young age in the U21 is an incredible success,” beamed chairman Robert Haas with his protégé.
