Young Peruvian Athletes Fundraising for South American Archery Tournaments

Young Peruvian athletes who qualified for South American archery tournaments in Brazil and Colombia next March are holding a raffle and a donation campaign in order to cover their participation costs in said competitions.

The athletes Santiago Prado, Marcos Rey Vicente, Hugo Rosales, Beatriz Aliaga, Milagros Trujillo, Violeta Escobedo, Nathaly Hermosa and Eberth Castillo They belong to the Peruvian Archery Sports Federation (FDPTA) and achieved first places in the National Archery and Para Archery Championships.

Participation expenses in Brazil and Colombia include air tickets, registration, accommodation, food and travel expenses. And for this They have organized a raffle for two shooting bows: one for competition and one for initiation.

Santiago Prado explained that the draw is organized by the Ax Archery club and will take place on March 9. Prizes include Class packages for those interested in practicing archery: a monthly program, 7 individual one-hour classes and 5 individual two-hour classes.

To participate in the South American Championship and World Ranking Event Brasil 2024 –to be held from March 25 to 31–, the eight athletes met the requirements indicated in the technical manual of the National Archery Championship that took place on February 9.
