Marselino Ferdinand received special attention from the social media of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) because of their impressive performance together Indonesian National team Of 2023 Asian Cup (2024).
The AFC Instagram account displays video footage of Marselino’s action in two group phase matches of the 2023 World Cup when the Indonesian National Team faced Iraq and Vietnam.
There is also a clip of Marcelino’s goal against Iraq which equalized the position, as well as other opportunities created by the KMSK player Deinze.
AFC wrote praise for the 19 year old young man, “@marselinoferdinan10 is a new star who gives everything for his team!”
Apart from that, AFC also embedded a statement ‘future star’ at the beginning of the video clip which was uploaded on Monday (12/2) evening.
Not only was Marselino awarded the title of future star at the 2023 Asian Cup, AFC also awarded the same title to three other players, namely Ali Olwan (Jordan), Takefusa Kubo (Japan), and Abdullah Radif (Saudi Arabia).
Marselino always plays in every match for the Indonesian National Team in the 2023 Asian Cup. The former Persebaya Surabaya player always plays the full game without ever being replaced.
The additional four caps from the last Asian Cup mean that Marselino has worn the Indonesian national team uniform 19 times with a contribution of three goals.
