With candles and at the first minute of this Friday, the candidate for the presidency of the Republic for the PAN, PRI and PRD alliance, Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz, will start her electoral campaign in this municipality, which is located in first place in the index of perception of insecurity in the country.
The “night walk for peace” tonight, which will be carried out by the flag bearer of the Fuerza y Corazón por México coalition, will be made up of the population of Fresnillo and surrounding municipalities.
The march will advance along seven streets in the city center, from the “Mother’s Garden” to the main square and along the way, contingents of health sector workers, miners, rural producers and searching mothers will join in stages. , it was informed.
Once at the event location where the campaign begins, a searcher mother and the second from Xóchitl Gálvez will speak, as they will be the only two speakers of the night.
During the first hours of Thursday, the municipal seat of Fresnillo remains unchanged in daily activities; some of the inhabitants are even unaware of the scheduled event.
Nor has a special security operation been set up in the city and there is no booth, chairs, stage or propaganda at the event site.

According to the National Urban Public Safety Survey, applied from November 27 to December 15, 2023, Fresnillo, Zacatecas has first place in the insecurity perception index in the country.
