Will there be matches World Cup 2030 in Galicia? The Galician Football Federation (RFGF) has conveyed to the Spanish Federation its proposal with several fields spread across different parts of the Galician geography to complete the applications of A Coruña y Vigo to be headquarters of World Cup 2030which will be jointly organized by Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
The proposal of the Galician federation includes, among others, up to six natural grass fields: A Malata (Ferrol), Anxo Carro (Lugo), Pasarón (Pontevedra), Vero Boquete (Santiago), A Magdalena (Vilalba) and Ponte dos Brozos (Arteixo).
Technicians from the Spanish Federation have moved this week to Galicia to inspect these facilities and assess whether they meet the requirements as possible national team training camps.
This Tuesday, RFEF personnel will visit the facilities of the Afouteza sports city of RC Celtaas well as the fields of Pardellas (Ponteares), Pasarón y Baltar (Portonovo).
The next day, they will move to the fields of Burgán (Cambados), A Senra (Ribadumia), Vero Boquete (Santiago), Vista Alegre (Ordes), Ponte dos Brozos (Arteixo) Yet the RC Deportivo sports city, in Abegondo. Finally, on Thursday they will visit To Malata and Magadalena.
