The adventure continues for OM in the Europa League.

A match and a first success for Jean-Louis Gasset on the OM bench, winner this Thursday evening of Shakhtar Donetsk (3-1), in the return match of the qualifying play-offs for the round of 16 of the 2023-2024 Europa League. The European adventure therefore continues for the Marseille club, which in the process offers itself a little respite. And 1.2 million euros more.

Qualified OM earns 1.2 million euros more

This is in fact what the eighths are worth in the distribution grid provided by UEFA for its competition. A million euros and a little more which are added to the rest already won so far in this C3. Namely 3.63 million euros in bonus common to all teams, 2.31 million euros for the results obtained in the group stage (three victories at 630,000 euros each and two draws at 210,000 euros).

A total of bonuses of more than €13 million

There is still second place in Group B behind Brighton, at 550,000 euros, the coefficient bonus over the last ten seasons which adds 3.3 million euros and finally the so-called marketpool share which is that of TV rights, close to 2.4 million euros. A total for Olympique de Marseille of nearly 13.7 million euros. The draw for the round of 16 of the competition is scheduled for this Friday. The matches will be played on March 7 and 14.
