Violent Assault Case in Brittany: Seven Years Later, Justice is Served

The facts date back to May 2017, a time when the wildness of Brittany was already well underway.

At dawn on May 13, two night owl friends in the city center of Lorient got into trouble with a heavily alcoholic couple who had spent the evening in Plouay and were looking for an alcohol sales outlet. They suffer the wrath of the couple with a wave of punches.

Stopped in their violence by a witness, Priscilla Chevalier and Michaël Di Muro then leave. To return a few minutes later in a vehicle and with reinforcements. Four people then get out of the car.

The victim left for dead in Lorient

One of the two friends having already received a first round of blows then manages to flee. But his sidekick was not so lucky: he was beaten up by three individuals, soon supported by a fourth, a certain Dgino Chevalier, brother of Priscilla Chevalier, who hit the victim several times with a baseball bat according to witnesses. .

It will take the arrival of a bus and the horns of the driver to put an end to the outbreak of violence. While the four attackers fled in their vehicle, the victim lay on the ground, bloodied, and no longer moved, several witnesses having described a scene of “unbelievable violence”.

Luckily, emergency services will be notified in time. However, the testimony of the emergency doctor who took care of the victim and cited by the Telegram February 6, 2024 is eloquent: he remembers a patient “in a deep coma. A brain hematoma took up half of the brain. It was necessary to trephine, otherwise it would lead to death. In a corner, without witnesses, he would have died on the public highway.”
