Video of Marquez’s motorbike being pushed by a moped during the Sepang test

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The 2024 MotoGP pre-season test session officially starts at the Sepang Circuit, on February 6 2024.

There was something interesting in the test session, where Gresini Racing racer, Marc Marquez, was caught on camera being pushed by a marshal who was using a green moped. This moment was uploaded by the Instagram account @motogp, Tuesday (6/2/2024).

On the first day of the pre-season test session in Sepang, bad luck befell the former Repsol Honda racer.

Marquez is known to have experienced technical problems on the Desmosedici GP23, which forced him to stop at the first corner. Gresini Racing stated that Marquez’s technical problems were only minor.

Not long after, the 30 year old rider returned to continue the Sepang test session. However, bad things happened to him again, where Marquez fell while crossing Turn 15. The accident did not cause significant injury so he was still able to continue the Sepang test session.

Currently the 2024 MotoGP pre-season test session in Sepang is still ongoing. Pramac Racing rider Jorge Martin looks superior compared to other riders.

Meanwhile, rookie Pedro Acosta also seemed capable of mastering the track, recording a fairly fast time and managing to occupy the top five positions for the last three hours.
