Víctor de Aldama, president of Zamora CF, arrested for alleged commission collection

The Civil Guard has arrested Victor de Aldamapresident of Zamora football clubfor him alleged commission collection in fraudulent allocations of masks during the pandemic. Another 19 people have also been detained as a result of the investigation, among them, Koldo García, who was an advisor to the former socialist minister. José Luis Ábalos.

According to what sources close to the investigation have told EFE, it was this Tuesday when the agents arrested Ábalos’ former advisor in a declared secret operation and in which at least Twenty arrests, including that of the president of Zamora CF. A total of 26 records or requirements have also been carried out in the development of the work of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office which, as reported in a press release, investigates “alleged criminal acts” associated with crimes of criminal organization, influence peddling and briberywhich could have been committed in the awarding of different contracts from various administrations.

The arrest occurred within the framework of an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office directed by the National audience and who has carried out the Central Operational Unit of the Civil Guard. Investigators have carried out actions in various provinces of Spain, although the location of many of the arrests has not been revealed. Not so in the case of Koldo García, who was arrested in Alicante.
