In Heerenveen, Germany’s footballers took advantage of their last chance for a ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris. The team led by captain Alexandra Popp won 2-0 (0-0) against the Dutch national team.

The goals were scored by Klara Bühl (66th minute) and Lea Schüller (78th). Germany was able to secure third place in the Nations League and qualified to take part in the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
