On the evening of the incident, the surviving victim admitted that his friend had honked his horn near their home, even though he had dissuaded him from doing so, before continuing on his way and suffering the fatal attack.

A criminal judicial investigation was opened under the qualifications of murder and violence with ITT for more than eight days with a weapon and in a meeting, punishable by a sentence of thirty years of criminal imprisonment.

The prosecution requested the indictment of the two brothers and their placement in detention.
