Triumphant Results for Dojo Equipe at the 29th Alpe Adria Judo Trophy

It is always Dojo Equipe at the 29th edition of the Alpe Adria trophy, the first seasonal judo Grand Prix, reserved for the cadet and junior classes. There are 715 cadets and 410 juniors, many of whom come from the neighboring nations of Slovenia, Croatia and Austria. For the Dojo Equipe there are, on the tatami, Alice Bersellini, Eric Merola, Nasar Moiseyenko, Spasonov Timofii and Mircea Cascaval.

Top result for the young Alice who returns home with a first place in the Cadet category up to 52 kilos and a second place in the Junior category up to 52 kilos. Podium for Eric Merola who took third place in the Cadet category up to 73 kilos, a result that allowed him to gain the pass to directly access the final phase of the Italian Cadet A1 championship, skipping the regional phase and the A2. Thanks also to the other results, Dojo Equipe closes in thirteenth place in the club rankings, first club in Emilia-Romagna.

Also in Lignano Sabbiadoro there was the Team Ima San Mamolo of maestro Paolo Checchi. Debut in the new weight and age category for Lucia Magli who finished in fifth place, slowed down and hindered by an injury that limited her in the last tests.

The international Kata Grand Prix in Leini (Turin). The absolute protagonists are the Italian champions Laura Bugo and Barbara Bruni Cerchier. Laura and Barbara, followed by maestro Cesare Amorosi, took first place both in the qualification and in the final with their Trentino rivals already beaten during the last Italian championships.
