Tottenham Hotspur won 3-2 over Brentford in continuation Premier League, Thursday (1/2) early morning WIB. This result made Spurs move back up to fourth place in the temporary Premier League standings.

From two matches in the Premier League, Timo Werner already packed two assists. The 27 year old player had difficulties at Chelsea even though he was still able to win the Champions League, but then his career faded at the start of the season in the Bundesliga.

Tottenham manager, Ange Postecoglou gave full confidence to Werner. For him, the player from Germany is more mature.

“He is a quality player. He is getting stronger, fitter and understands the game better,” he explained to BBC.

Postecoglou did not put the burden on Werner to score goals. The important thing is, Werner can be the player who makes the difference.

“There will be times when he will be more effective. He also knows his purpose for playing here,” he concluded.
