Thorgan Hazard helped Anderlecht to victory against STVV yesterday. The midfielder headed in the 1-1 and celebrated his goal in a special way.
“We had 3 birds at home, one died last week,” Hazard explains. “Toto was the parakeet we saved when I was playing football in Dortmund.”
Hazard depicted a fluttering Toto, at the request of his children. “They asked me to dedicate a goal to him. They choose how I celebrate,” the midfielder laughs.
Anderlecht won 4-1, Hazard equalized with a header goal.
