Even when your name is Michael Jordan and you are considered the GOAT by many people, there was a day when you dreamed of being on the same level as another player you saw on TV . The Bulls legend also commented on the career of his childhood idol some time ago.
Thanks to his immense career, Michael Jordan is considered by many to be the best basketball player in history. But more than that, he is the one who made a large number of current players in the league want to learn the discipline. His aura and talent were such that they terrified his opponents in addition to bringing crowds of fans to their feet who were fighting to attend his matches.
His Airness became the symbol of an entire generation of fans of the orange ball sport, and the players who followed him began to try to model their game on his, like Kobe Bryant. Yet MJ himself drew inspiration from another superstar who came before him. This is 76ers legend Julius Erving. No. 23 then gave his thoughts on his approach to the game towards his idol.

Before Michael Jordan electrified America’s biggest arenas, Julius Erving was one of the most sensational athletes of his time. Even to the point where some consider him one of the precursors of the spectacular basketball we know today.
