Teresa Perales breaks the world record for the 150 SM2 styles twice

MADRID, 1 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish swimmer Teresa Perales was this Thursday one of the great protagonists of the World Series event that is being held in Aberdeen (Scotland) by twice breaking the world record of the 150 medleys in the SM2 class.

The Aragonese, 48 years old and winner of 27 medals in the Paralympic Games, demonstrated her quality despite having to drop class due to her left shoulder injury and swim with only one arm, a clear message of her ambitions for the Paralympic Games in Paris, which would be the seventh of his career.

The swimmer from Zaragoza, who was swimming this test for the first time, already broke the world record in the morning series of the test with a time of 4:44:16, but in the afternoon session she was able to improve her own record and set the record of the world in 4:40.44.

“Wow, what a day! World record this morning and again this afternoon in the 150 medley in the first round of the World Series in Aberdeen. I am very happy and eager to go for more. Paris awaits us,” she celebrated Perales in his official ‘X’ profile.
