Things are not going well for Carlos Alcaraz this year. Now the Spaniard is also injured. But he won’t be out for long.

Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz had to give up after just a few minutes in his first round match at the tennis tournament in Rio de Janeiro.

The Spanish world number two collapsed in the first game of the game when the score was 15:15. Alcaraz (20) then tried to continue playing, but had to pass a little later.

According to his own statements, the Spaniard was not seriously injured and only has to take a few days off. After an investigation, Alcaraz announced his start at the Masters 1000 tournament from March 6th to 17th in Indian Wells, California, where he is the defending champion.
