For the Chiefs’ victory over the 49ers, an average of 370,000 viewers watched Channel 6. This represents 12.9% of the public. It even rises to 24% among 25-49 year olds.

The M6 ​​group announces an audience peak of 600,000 viewers.

For comparison, there were 270,000 viewers watching the L’Équipe channel in 2023, for 8.7% market share. The peak was at 380,000.

Super Bowl audiences better on M6, but not quite at the level of TF1

M6’s 2024 figures are better than those of the L’Équipe channel in 2022 and 2023. But not 2021, when L’Équipe announced an average of 398,000 viewers.

TF1 also remains above with 410,000 in 2020, and even 513,000 in 2019.

For its return to business on the Super Bowl, the M6 ​​group is in fact returning to the standards of its audiences at the time when the match was broadcast on W9. In 2018, the channel announced an average of 347,000 viewers.
