Jakarta, tvOnenews.com – The coach of the Indonesian U-23 National Team, Shin Tae-yong, will call 26 players to take part in the 2023 U-23 Asian Cup training camp (TC), in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is planned to start on March 31 2024.
This news was confirmed by the manager of the Indonesian U-23 National Team, Sumardji.
Currently, Sumardji has the names of players who were called by Shin Tae-yong to take part in TC in Dubai.
“We brought 26 players. The list of players is already there,” said Sumardji in Jakarta, Monday (12/2/2024).
Sumardji admitted that Shin Tae-yong had criteria for players who would participate in the U-23 Indonesian National Team TC.
The tactician from South Korea is also certain to drop players who play for the same club.
This means that Shin Tae-yong is only looking at one player per club in League 1 to participate in defending the U-23 Indonesian National Team in the U-23 Asian Cup.
